stockings!! P.S. if you like our hangers, they are available at Pottery Barn, in oil bronze too!
closer up! It was fun to do the relief thing, but a little tricky in the felt.
Isn't that fireplace just begging to have something above it!! I know, I'm working on it.
So the girl ones are white and cream. And the boys are brown and cream. They are felt and faux fur. Super simple construction, but I like the look!

Hey Liz, I found your blog through Stephanie's. I absolutely love your stockings - they look beautiful on your fireplace!! I am going to have to take some lessons from you sometime. I hope you and your beautiful family have wonderful holidays

They're beautiful!
Wow Liz, those turned out great. I really like the shape of them. Did you draw the pattern or pick up a template somewhere? If you drew the pattern, do you mind if I take a look at it sometime? I'm looking for the perfect shape for the stockings I'll be making next year. I love how those turned out. I bet they look gorgeous in your home! Did you make one for baby-on-the-way too? Or are you waiting 'till next year?
They look great Liz! Good job!
My fireplace is begging for something over it too, but I haven't found that perfect "something" yet... Keep me posted on your search!
VERY cute! I've been waiting to see the finished project! We have pottery barn hangers, too. But what are you going to do next year when there's another stocking to be added?? (I'm having that dilemna...we bought "JOY" which won't last us too many more years!)
I want to make some too! How much would you charge for lessons? What about quilting lessons?
Beautiful Liz! Very cheerful and festive.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Don't EVEN post your pictures of your gorgeous home, wicked fireplace and breathtaking home-made stockings - you stinker!! :) I'm so in awe of you, especially this year when I've totally slacked to the very last moment to do anything remotely wonderous.
Those stockings rock my socks - HAHAHA

once again - masterpieces. What else can I say? Oh, we're in town right now and I'd love to see you. I'm either at Cahoons or my parents house. We're blessing the baby tomorrow, but after that we're free to get together. Call me!!
So we have made it through another split staying in the same ward! Always so relieved when we have a split and i get to say, ahhh we kept the Cranmers.... really i do!! Anyhoo your projects as always look amazing! Hows your pregnancy going? i am kinda in denial about number 3... should i admit that? hehe!! Really need to hang out...for reals!!
Oh, I just love them. Our stockings are all mismatched and not so cute. Erik hung them up this year at the beginning of December so by Christmas time they were making me CRAZY! Beautiful...like everything you do!
Hey Liz,
Can you e-mail me please? I "borrowed" a picture on your blog. No personal pictures. Just want to thank you and invite you to read some things about a Western PA. coal town.
Bob
They are gorgeous!
Happy New Year!
Tose stockings and the peek into your home and family are wonderful.
I'm sure you'll put the perfect thing above that fireplace. My husband put a massive TV over mine. He considers it a work of art!
