SanFrancisco Love - Part b
Kent and I decided to tour SanFrancisco on bikes. We stayed in Fisherman's Warf. Kent has always had a love for the water, and I have always wanted to see/be on the Golden Gate Bridge. We fulfilled dreams together! Biking to the bridge and across it was amazing! I was so thrilled and loved the scenery on the way to and back. We stopped whenever we wanted, took a million pictures and explored. It lived up to all the hype. I truly love to do new things with Kent. He is the perfect person to share all my moments with. I'm so thankful to be an 'US'. I love Kent Cranmer!

Those that could - Family
Those of us that could gather did. My parents and my sister and I were in California for a wedding and really just had the best time. I gather with both often with children and husbands in tow. This although a departure, was so pleasant to be just the four of us. Sister, child, parent dynamics all in place and so much fun! The last day my Brother and his wife (lucky for us), couldn't resist coming the 6 hours to see us. I had forgotten what a 'Conor' hug felt like. It was so good to have my hands on his actual face! I missed my brother more then I realized. He means so much to me. Oh and Greta! My niece, is just beautiful!! I'm in love with her!! Holly too, but she was a moving target! This was such an amazing trip, the family time, events, banter, scenery, I loved it all. Of course we also came upon Zoltar from the movie 'Big' while we were on the Santa Monica Pier. Why wouldn't we! I couldn't resist. Zoltar fortunes all around, even for the skeptics!

Christmas Crafting
It feels so wrong not to have a picture to go with this post, but everything I am working on is so top secret I can't share! I am having so much fun doing it though. So much fun in fact that I couldn't bring myself to go to sleep until 4 am.... a couple of times. Kent does snow removal and therefore is gone for large amounts of hours at a time, and usually in the middle of the night. I don't like to sleep without him right beside me, so I sew. I have to tell you I have been getting so much done!! However my body gave last night. It made it very clear that I was not to take another snip, stitch or anything of the sort! It was time to sleep. SO I did and now I'll have to pace myself. I hope that all of you are having fun with your christmas projects. I love this time of year. Using both my skills and creativity in marriage to make things for the ones I love. There is just something so sweet about the anticipation of giving that can't be described fully. But I'm sure you know what I mean. I'll let you in on our plans for teaching the kids about such feelings in another post. For now I am enjoying seeing others projects pop up in blogging and I can't wait to share mine after Christmas.
Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas!!

Mummies and Monkey's, oh my!
I am getting more into halloween as each year passes. I've never been a huge decorator of this holiday, and maybe never will. But today I did see a few ideas that really appealed! A candy corn motif and some painted pumpkins found HERE. What I am more excited about is my kids costumes!! I am really encouraging, since last year and forever more, that imagination and homemade is the way to go! They give me the idea and we'll work to accomplish it! With that..... Here is this years Cranmer crew.
Evan is a Mummie. A sad one in these pictures, or did that come off as creepy? Evan wanted to be scary for halloween. These were taken after being woken up from falling asleepon the couch after school. Poor kid, I forced him to try the costume I worked all day on! It looks Easy but the pants had to have the bandages hand sewn on so that he can still go pee, if needs be!

Vienna is a Bird! She was able to reuse her self designed body suit from her Fancy Nancy costume last year, as well as feather boa! Hip hooray!

Seger is a construction worker. The overalls are a pair of snow pants we had for Evan And the tools from the toy room! Easy peasy, and super cute!

Felix is a monkey courtesy of my Mom. Isn't he sweet! All the grand babies from this last batch in the fam. are being monkeys together. FUN!
