Still here...

This isn't Felix, but I imagine him being just about as squished! Looks uncomfortable!

Yup, no baby! 39 wks and 3 days.... feels like I am about a week over though. Those other 3 kids of mine gave me a false sense of earliness! I am trying REALLY hard to believe that there is a blessing in disguise here. That there is some great explanation why my body is being put through this torture, I'll keep you posted if I ever figure that all out.

In the meantime my kids have not asked about how long this whole baby growing stuff is going to take, for the entire 9 months, but today even, my 3 year old Vienna is aware that this is a long time! I have been hearing.....
" What's taking Felix SO long to get here?"
" Let's go to the hospital, and just do it"
" Just do it Mommy" " Get Felix"

So yeah..... I'll let the doctor know, we would like to 'Just do this' please! COME OUT BABY FELIX!

P.S. if this baby is still going to insist on a couple of more days, I have a couple requests..... indulge me.
1. Be small!
2. Stop faking me out with good contractions
3. Be small!

He looks so uncomfortable that he must come out soon to meet his family who are all waiting very impatiently for his arrival. My grandbaby was sucking his/her thumb at the 20week scan which was 12 weeks ago and my darling dil finally looks pregnant. Come on Felix come out and be small. Love Patti xxx

Oh Liz! My little man was a week overdue, but I didn't have tree others asking about him! I love the name Felix, great choice. I wish you a quick and easy delivery!

I can't feel too sorry for you, I am always overdue. Two of mine were both 11 days past my due date. One weighed 10 pounds :O I know it is hard though, when you expect to do what you have done in the past. I would freak out if this one went 12 days past due! LOL

Yowch! That's a tight squeeze. You'd think he would be excited to get out of there.

My daughter was 10 days early and hasn't been on time for anything since haha.

Good luck with delivery - whenever that might happen.

Oh Liz. You're so funny! He'll be here soon enough. I think one blessing is that Felix and Evan will have some time between their birthdays so you won't go crazy this time of year every year planning birthday parties. This way you get a bit of a break before your next party. Haven't each of your babies been smaller? Seger was your smallest right? So there's hope right there. Let us know when it does happen! And whenever it does I'm sure it'll be perfect timing.

I wish I lived near by. . .I would bring over one of my favorite books called, "Baby, Come Out!" by Fran Manushkin. See if it is at your local library because you will LOVE it! Everyone in the family tries to coax the baby in Mommy's tummy by telling him what they will give him if he comes out. The illustrations of the baby in Mommy's tummy are hilarious and the story is very dear to my heart.

Wishing you and the family many happy thoughts of a speedy (and safe) delivery!

The end is so torturous...but if you've never watched your due date come and go with no baby, you're missing out. Everyone should get to experience that! Ha! J/K hope he shows up soon!

Oh I remember that feeling. He will come when he is ready. I will keep you all in my prayers. You are a living doll pregnant! I can't wait to hear that when he arrives.

You need a good foot rub! NO SERIOUSLY....my mom has given me an hour long foot rub either the night before or the day of my labor.....it really does seem so blissfull when things are the way they are! Can't wait to see pictures!

I am with you on the foot rubs!! I actually had that done professionally for the last 2 kids, but my massage girl moved away. I gotta get me a set of magic hands and fast! It totally works!

haha, I hear you with the small thing. I have only gone into labour on my own once...so I also know the endless waiting. Good luck. I hope it's soon. I can't wait to meet your little guy. Let's just hope that if he's a big boy, it won't be in the head....that really is what makes the biggest difference. Good luck and know that we're all wishing you the best delivery yet...

I think it's time you ate some curry, had some raspberry tea and got washing the floors on your hands and knees ;o) That should motivate him :o) I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. :o)
