Just a few things!

So today for the very first time I put my boys in matching shirts! i can't believe that I went 6 months with not doing that. this is actually thier first matching anything! Yay! they look so cute all big boy and little mani-sh together! anyways i just think it's one so those things. I was quite often dressed matching with my sister and it seems that when you grow up those are the pictures and outfits you remember. so we have begun the tradition. Not to say that they will be mini me's all the time, or anything.

Also they put the first coat of paint on the interior. Now alot of you are going to think that we are off our rocker!!! But I am telling you there is a vision and it will be beautiful when complete. So the colour is called pod. in person it is yellow with a green shot to it. Once the casings and cabinets are in it'll make a little more sense to those of you that think that I must be colour blind to have picked such a colour. Oh and they are starting the finishing work today so we will have baseboards very soon!! YAY! So hears a pic of the walls and a pic of the cushions I just picked up to flavour up the living room.

So Cute! For one of our family pictures, Kimberly and I are wearing pink taffeta dresses that my mom made (let me tell you, I LOVED that dress and the little jewelry I had to go with it even though I was allowed to drink from the water fountain at church because I would always drip water marks stay put on taffeta!) and John was wearing a light pink shirt. It was very smart. I like the matchy matchy thing, although I've always wanted a little girl whom I could make dresses for and then out of the same fabric, skirts for myself. Lame I know. I really like the colour of your walls so if anyone has anything negative to say about them, I'll beat them up! And the cushions are to die for. Excellent taste Liz. When's the move-in date? Ooo I bet you are so incredibly excited!!

I love it!!! I laughed out loud when I saw the picture. Ever since I started reading your blogs and seeing the pics in your current house I have been wanting the paint our house a simular brown.... right now it is alomst the same yellow that you are painting the new house! Too funny!

Love the gutsy color! I can't wait to see the finish carpentry. I'm assuming you're painting the woodwork white?

Its exciting watching your vision unfold Liz, the cushions couldn't be more perfect- I can't wait for an in person tour of the latest developments.
Evan and Seger look adorable in their shirts- I love family sets that match as well. We'll have to cook up something sweet for Easter....
Love
Mom
